Laurie has been entertaining in various venues in Colorado for diverse audiences her entire life. Recent performances include entertaining at bars and clubs, coffee houses, corporate parties, and weddings. Her repertoire pleases all ages from children to seniors, and Laurie can entertain for private parties or other creative occasions.

Her style is versatile and includes selections from folk, instrumental, pop, country, blues, and jazz.

She also performs many of her own original jazz and blues favorites. Laurie can be contracted for solo performances or also performs with any number of additional musicians when it seems appropriate.

“My intention is to 'do what I love and love what I do.' It is my hope that folks can take a break from the busy world and sit back and enjoy!”

Laurie has three CD's to her acclaim; "Utah Dream" from her folk days in the mid-nineties, "Looking Through the Blue," expressing her life-time love of jazz and and "I Can't Wait to See You Again,"twelve of her favorite jazz standard and one original composition. Listen at CD Baby!

Her song "I Can't Wait to See You Again," received an award of honorable mention in the 16th annual Billboard Magazine World Song Contest.In their letter they claim "this is an impressive feat. With thousands of entries coming in each year exemplifying top notch quality songwriting there seems to be a trend promoting an ever increasing level of songwriting."

The same song was entered in the 2008 Australian Song Contest and her song, I Can't Wait to See You Again, made it into the finals!!!
